Bonjour! Grüezi! Bonjourno!

Three weeks ago today, we were headed to the airport to embark on our biggest adventure yet. From the palatial wonders of London to the iconic gracefulness of the Eiffel Tower, beyond the sunken surrealism of Pisa and the jagged awesomeness of the Colosseum, the treasures of Europe awaited us. For two weeks, we immersed ourselves in the rich history and old world beauty of several countries, and we can hardly wait to tell you all about it!

Since we’ve never been on a guided vacation before, we really didn’t know what to expect. We’re very pleased with our choice to book with Insight Vacations. Early on, we realized how difficult it would have been to coordinate everything by ourselves, not to mention expensive! Insight Vacations took care of all the details and made the entire experience seamless. Our tour director, Ruth, was a wonderful traveling companion and resource, and our coach driver, Domenico, a skilled professional who expertly navigated the ever-changing terrain. We also really liked the option to select from several add-on excursions to places that we would not have otherwise visited. Thank you Insight for a fabulous vacation!

In addition to the many incredible things we saw and experienced, we also met several wonderful people from all over the world. Jay and I are grateful for their company and we hope our new friends visit the blog often to say hello.

With roughly 5000 pictures and 8 hours of video to sift through, we have our work cut out for us, but we’ll be working diligently to bring you all the highlights of a most amazing adventure. Stay tuned for more Along the Way with J&J!

We are excited to announce the first Along the Way with J&J European vacation! From August 27th to September 10th, we’ll be visiting nine amazing cities in five countries, and our jam-packed itinerary includes stops at several of the most beautiful attractions in the world!
