Tee Pee Curios on Route 66 in Tucumcari, NM
Taken as we strolled on Santa Monica beach at the end of our Route 66 adventure last May!
This is the second video in our “Through the Window” series. We shot this while en route to the Meramec Caverns in Stanton, Missouri, which is one of the most popular attractions in the state. You’ll notice that we were driving on a stretch of old Route 66 parallel to the main highway. Enjoy!

Before we left for our trip last May, Jay did a review for a cool map set that we picked up on Amazon called “Here It Is! The Route 66 Map Series”. We had these maps sprawled out on Lady T’s dashboard as we drove through each state on Route 66 and we selected a lot of our stops based on the fun retro illustrations. I liked them so much that I picked up another set in a gift shop somewhere out west as a souvenir! Check them out in our Amazon shop.
Check out the first video in a series we’ve titled “Through the Window – Route 66”. We recorded this while heading towards Funks Grove, Illinois to pick up some of their famous “sirup”. It was delicious!
